This is an itv show and supposedly a family show, they dont show someone wearing a sindoor and mangalsutra just to pretend. Mr Sharma is already convinced that she has forgotten about her ex, she doesnt need to do anything else to convince. My guess is that they may have been married on paper but now married via hindu customs.
