I mentioned this in my earlier post. When the wife doesn't have the right for divorce and get it through the court, mostly she has to forgo her Haq Mehr money.

Also, the botheration of going to court is another trauma. In many dramas, we see the situation in which the wife asks for a divorce and the husband retorts that inti asaani se talaq nahi doonga, adalaton ke dhake khao aur mango talaq. The husband doesn't come to court hearings and try to prolong the matter as much as he can to mentally torture the wife.

So if it's done through divorce no legal procedures are needed?

Just say she wants a divorce and then take the haq meher and leave?

I haven't closely witnessed any divorce proceedings personally but as far as I know, in this case, the legal procedure is easy and the wife is not needed to go to court. Its just need sending legal documents by post and later registring divorce.

So the husband has no other option but to sign the papers?

Nikah Nama is like a legal contract between the groom and the bride at the time of Nikah that is signed by both parties. It assigns their rights and duties as husband and wife through a number of clauses. Usually, some of its clauses are cut by the moulvi at the time of nikah which deprives the wife of her rights mentioned in those clauses. The most important of these rights is the Right to Divorce. If a wife has a right to divorce, she can divorce her husband and keep her Haq Mehr. If not, the wife must file for Khula from the court and mostly forego her Haq Mehr. Hence, awareness in being spread in women to not allow the moulvi to cut these clauses and protect their rights as mostly the groom's side peopole are with the moulvi in cutting these clasues, while the bride's side people prefer to not talk about it as talking about divorce at the time of nikah seems like a bad thing to them.

Sajal's entire look in this drama is very beautiful. It's just that her looks don't have a professional feel for someone who is working in the corporate world.

I've seen people wear casual looks even if they are in corporate world but it depends on the intent (like either meetings or something, I've seen people keep extra professional wear in bags/office cabinets or drawers).

Btw, it seems like Salman does like Alia from the last episode lol. Even Alia made a small laugh while reminiscing about Salman.
