someone please explain gol gappe
like every time i have had them i have been disappointed.. like on saturday after Tere Bin i bought some but it was very meh .. first of all i got 6 gol gappes with some potatoes etc in it and a container of liquid.. the liquid just had tangy mint sauce, no chutney . plus it also annoys me how those gol gappes sometimes leaks..
i have had from quite a few indian cafes/restaurants and they're always been so underwhelming..
did i order the wrong type? whats the trick of ordering?
Do you live abroad? I live in Adelaide and have never been able to find decent gol gappas here. Same with Melbourne and Sydney as per my experience.

But honestly their review was fair. They highlighted the same problems we had.
What did they say ?
Didn't watch the interview.

I am from Kerala and here more than half of the people don't even know what's a gol gappa/pani puri is. I stayed in Delhi for sometime and there I ate Pani puri and it's now one of my fav north India food/snack. There was a panipuri wala in front of my institution in Karol bagh and used to give 6 pani puri for 10rs and they were so good. In Kerala now some restaurants and cafes have pani puri but costs atleast 70-80rs for 5-6 pani puris. Only one restaurant has amazing Pani puri here.
