Where sai has become the second part of geet. Who once was a fun loving chirpy girl, but circumstances changed her. Even satya has a backstory but he's more on the chirpy side. He'll bring out the cute fun side in sai again.. And, he'll become more serious after falling for sai.

Chandni - Too early to say, but yes some similarities.

Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor’s characters fall in love. She comes from a modest family whereas he belongs to a well to do one. Hence his folks esp his mom is not in favour. He meets with an accident and becomes wheelchair bound. She nurses him and then helps him around with everything and hears the taunts too. He feels that he has become a burden on her and will ruin her life. So he starts acting rude and eventually they breakup and she leaves.

There is a small leap in which she has met Vinod Khanna. He has a past where he was in love with Juhi Chawla but she is no more. Slowly he falls in love with her, and she reluctantly agrees for wanting to move on from her past and for the gratitude she holds for Vinod Khanna’s character for supporting her. However just then both men meet and hit off. Rishi Kapoor’s character has recovered and is now desperately trying to search for his love and win her back. Both share their stories not knowing that the woman is question is the same.

Then the cliche, Rishi Kapoor does not want hurt his friend nor does Sridevi, only for him to realise the truth and the OG couple to get back together.

PS - Watch out the soundtrack if you haven’t. One of the best songs

Virat ka character shuru se hi kharab tha, it's just that it kept deteriorating..from the beginning he has been trying to make two women happy.. kept each in either pocket.

Sai ka character bhi kharab hi hua hai if u see from where she started..

However trying to balance two romantic interest k liye ada or talent dono chaiye, jo sirf uske paas hai jaachi sacchi jubaan hai..

Actually Sai ka character fir bhi Aisa protected rakha hai with a hope ki uske saath kuch jyada khilwad nahi kiya in 790 episodes. Ab bas yehi hope ki aahe bhi Aisa rakhe.

Characters deteriorate hote hi hai re Jitna episodes ka rat race chalu hota hai.
