Audience do know and remember that. They also know that Abhimanyu does not know that Akshara is not married to Abhinav. So they see the ML disregarding the boundaries.

On this topic, I will still reserve my judgement until I watch the next few episodes.

I agree with you I am just shocked to learn about people taking tele shows so seriously as to connect and mix reality with reel characters and life.

But Duniya main har tarha ke log hain and I understand.

If they don't connect reality to reel characters they won't be interested in watching it either. In fantasy also ppl like to watch larger than life fictional characters who possess "super hero" qualities. Not super dumb qualities. In fantasy also everybody wants good to win over evil . Not hero turning evil and everybody cheers for him

I have been a silence watcher over the forum for a period of time now...but been watching ITV serials all my life.

I recently started watching YRKKH when the separation started. It got me intrigued and Abhi/Akshara gave me Anurag/Prerna feels. (Even though Prerna stopped thinking or caring about Anurag and I really really hope that Akshara doesn't, she has to realize and stand up for who she really loves and the father of her child) he was traumatised, shocked and destroyed when all that Neil episode happened... and they need to talk about that and Abhi is over that.... he was wrong for not standing up for her and he apologised... she refused which was soooo good and satisfying to watch because that keeps their relationship/love/anger/narazghi alive. But what else can he do....people want him to die and they say that he doesn't deserve Akshara for the way he treated her... it is all on the writers... and I love Akshara and she deserve all the respect and love... but in this universe all that matters is Abhi/Akshu love... so if they are together nothing else matters apparently.

Okay, Abhi treated her badly...but that is a normal (but unacceptable) behaviour from people specifically men ... In that situation specifically if you are an ITV male lead... more so in Balaji shows but ... YRKKH is giving Balaji a competition in this out of the world love/passion/obsession/blame game story.

Abhi is portrayed like old school male characters... he has been caring/loving/respectful and supportive throughout... but this was all done because the story demanded it.

Anyway... I am surprised..or better shocked to see people wanting/having realistic expectations from an ITV serial.

Whenever I want to escape reality and get into an unrealistic and lovey/dovey kind of feeling I start watching Indian serials and only if I like the main leads/their chemistry... and I Love love love how obsessive Abhi is getting over Akshu.

I wouldn't be watching if Abhi didn't care about Akshu anymore or if she completely forgot about him... I will stop watching because that would be just too realistic and boring.

And India has owned so much of western culture that I am surprised how people are surprised and not accepting how male lead wants to get back together with the female lead... marriage or no marriage...they are soul mates and that is how it is supposed to be...that is what we see in USA tv shows... and you cannot say it doesn't happen in India or anywhere else in Asia...because it does...people do love each other despite marrying others...and long for each other and there are Extra maritial affairs as well...so it is all very realistic...even though that is not where YRKKH is headed...we all know Akshara will never...

Maybe not for the classic YRKKH audience but Duniya main sab kuch ho raha hai...Morally wrong things happen everywhere.

Nothing is surprising or unrealistic other than great grandparents looking so young or immortal.

I love and support Abhimanyu because in the end he only does what the writers want him to do... I am just happy his character is not revolving around Ruhi anymore even though she is lovely... and I want Ruhi to realize that Akshara is the most important person in her Poppy's life...so blaming the characters doesn't really make sense.

If Abhi can go mad and turn 360 degrees because his brother died and he lost his twins....(that didn't actually made sense because Akshara wanted them more than he did... but again nothing does on ITV) so can Abhinav Jee turn 360 degrees when he gets to experience Abhi/Akshu 's love ... why is that so hard to believe. People change in life and it is always over stupid and non reasonable reasons that people turn good or bad...there is a very fine line for someone to turn bad or grey. Abhinav getting all villainous for the fear of losing Akshara and Abhir is totally understandable... that will be his reason of turning bad just as Abhimanyu did, when his bro died and he stopped caring and forgot everything he had for Akshara... and again it all goes back to the writers.

All the characters are mere pawns in the writers hands.

Anurag literally followed Prerna to her honeymoon and proceeded to slap the shit out of her lol. So, yeah, Abhimanyu seems very much like anurag.

Okay, she's not married to Abhinav but she's still committed to him. Just because marriage is not on table, does that make it acceptable for a bf/gf/fiancé to cheat on a person with their ex?

Now you'd say that Navra are not romantically committed.* Does that give any right to Abhimanyu to feel entitled to Akashara's love and emotional labour? Bhai, aurat na toh kisi aur ke saath rahe na single rahe kyon ki Abhimanyu Birla murde par mandrate bhaksiyon ki tarah entitled feel karenge for you to "come back" to him. Consent gaya bhaad mein

Abhimanyu, a sane adult man willfully got affianced to Arohi and is now cheating on her by begging her sister's partner to destroy his family so that his-ex-cum-honewali-saali would come back to him, her consent be damned

His fangirls will proceed to slùtshame Arohi when she understandably turns bitter.

Because, y'know, turu lob.

* I do not think that Navra are not committed to each other just because sex is not part of their equation. They are partners, parents and family. I don't think Akshara would have been okay if Abhinav ever decided to date on his own or have a separate family back in Kasauli.

I don't think many have the emotional capacity to be detached from a fictional show and step back from it if it's frustrating them too much. Reel and real are too enmeshed. Easier to remove their frustrations on a fictional character I guess.

Lol and people are mad at harshad too for doing this character now that he's butchered. Like dude he's mature enough to be detached from a character he himself is playing but we are the ones losing our minds watching it🤣🤣

It's just ITV why to take it seriously 😂😂

Golden rule of itv is everybody take turns to suffer. Akshu ka quota khatam now abhi is losing his mind. Just sit back and enjoy the trainwreck🤣🤣

And I always stand by this ki if you're getting influenced by a show and it's affecting your real life, you're too young to watch it.

I will not talk about anything other than this point intimacy is not the only thing i understand but akshu never shared her past life with nav. The base any realtion is always a truth he knows she was not in a good marriage why she did not shared about goenkas. Her being rich or her love for music.

She is still living in past and its very much evident in her action. I am not saying abhi going behind her is correct my points majorly speak about navra relations.

1. Akshu never shared her secrets with abhinav he does not know she belongs to well to do family.

2. She being from yrkkh famous parivar she never put on ms or sindhoor to respect the relation she is into. I am not saying every girl has to show off. But going with akshu's character she loves dressing up wearing those and showing everyone that she is suhagan.

3. She stopped singing. Why because her singing reminds her about her past her connection with abhi and even hides that think from nav and abhir.

4. She is very romantic and tries to show off to the world who is her husband that akshu is lost with abhi.

5. She still loves abhi and only said yes to abhinav once abhi decided to move on in his life. She had enough chances in past 6 years to tell abhinav that she wants to move on but she waited for abhi to take first step towards moving on from each other.

6. Abhinav has told akshu everything including him being orphan how much abhinav knows about akshu. Everything is coming as a surprise to him.

7. The only thing they are sharing as husband and wife is abhir's responsiblity and a house nothing else.

Akshu is equally at fault for thinking about abhi being married to nav. I know its not easy to forget past marriage but if you have decided to move on its your responsibility to ensure you dont look back. Else you are betraying your new partner thats why i would hope they show navra as faking this marriage as akshu does not deserve abhinav if he is good. He may not how a relation ship would look like as he is an orphan but akshu never included him in her world .

More than intimacy i look for these aspects in relation which is majorly missing in navra.

Your post needs hundred trigger warnings

Have you considered that she might not have wished to revisit her traumatic past time and time again. She made a literal stranger like Abhinav the legal guardian of her son rather than seek help from her "rich family." The reason the past never came up between was parenthood became the first foundation stone of their equation and friendship later. Not everyone wishes to revisit their trauma every time they start something new.

Had she been living in the past, she'd never have made Abhinav the father of her son.

Just because she stopped singing and never shared it with Abhinav doesn't mean anything lol

There was a soft skill I was learning that I loved and my brain has consciously made an effort to forget it as a very abusive, traumatising person was associated with it. I do not go about narrating my dukhda about this everytime I make a new friend.

Also, it doesn't really matter if she loves abhi (she has said she doesn't but once again we will believe the antaryami ml who's badgering her that she indeed loves him par koi na.) People can a) have complicated feelings for someone toxic b) love more than one person.

Committment matters, consent matters, intent matters.

yes she may not want to but she has not completely revealed herself to nav yet. For nav she is khadoos gussail etc but in actual she never was like that which shows how much she still living in her past.

tbh i have problem with that only. She is well educated she had a good singing career. She could have taken help for some days and then she could have built her career and shown birlas that women does not need a man to survive. I will still understand if she needs time in initial days as she left everything. But she chose to marry him only because of abhir as its impossible for her to forget abhi in 6 months. And why does abhir need a father. There are lakhs of women who single handedly taking care of her kids post coming out of abusive marriage. I hate this part every itv when they show women needs a papa for her kid than showing her strong and independent.

There were lot of societys who will help women in case of these kinds of situation but yrkkh showed that women is nothing without a man. 🙃
