See Saavi never had this issue, because she knew Sai is her mother, that she had a father too but he was missing. From the later conversations, we have also been told that Sai created an image of a father who sent gifts to Saavi. So for her, her father was just a void... which she filled with V temporarily with the adoption offer and later when she found out V is her actual father. That transition for her is an easy one. Illogical to some degree but the information fed to her by Sai, V and BK is gradual and not nasty.... none of them have created a wrong image of a father for her.

For Vinu, it was altogether different... he was adopted when he was not so young. They have glossed over this fact while it had potential in itself. But the first shock he got was VP are not his real parents... and he saw Sai Saavi in comparison who are real mother daughter. The bond that was absent in his life till then. He had a sense of incompleteness within him which came out even in Mahashivratri celebration.

P then fed him a story about jadugarni. The story not only shows Sai in bad light.. but it also implicates V... that V will do whatever Sai wants him to do... which is what Vinu saw in his dreams as well (white gown witch wala where V is stopping P)... V is also indirectly feeding this by getting Sai into CN and supporting her. Vinu is not entirely wrong to think that he is alone and only P is his saviour.

That's why he reaches out to her everytime... because she is the one person he sees unaffected by Sai. It can also be why he has not pondered over how V is the biological father.

This fire incident and V stopping Sai may therefore work in how Vinu sees V and Sai together. Like Saavi has seen V Sai working together, sharing meal together, laughing and teasing ... Vinu hasnt...

I keep repeating that the kids need to see their parents in a cohabiting space to understand that V Sai were married and had a loving relationship. It is not as formal as they show. Both have not seen it.. Saavi to some extent but Vinu hasn't. This stopping Sai and if she stays within the new CN walls happens... with his renewed perspective towards Sai... Vinu will start noticing this.... P will manipulate him for sure but again depends on how much he gets influenced now.

I think both the kids are far off from knowing the surrogacy angle and situation of their birth... the first step would be how they view V Sai together. Vinu got a glimpse in Holi... he will see more now.

Yes...both kids are still far from reality. Savi though gets the things for her age, Vinu has to cover his distance. For that Sai needs to stay in CN for more time. Vinu as has to accept Sai-Virat as his parents first. Then only he can question. Now the scare is gone,hopefully he starts thinking towards it

That's why I say Virat is the most butchered character on the show. There was really no need to show Virat-Pakhi as married couple post leap. As per the original concept Virat may still have no problem being her best friend but under any circumstance he will never agree to marry her. It's completely writers fault and not the actors. They could have shown Virat and Pakhi adopted an orphan boy and mutually agreed to take care of him as his adopted parents but Pakhi started dreaming of getting married to him and Ashwini and Bhavani are trying hard to convince Virat to marry her but he is not interested. Then he comes to know Sai is alive and has a daughter. He feels angry and heartbroken and trust me his anger would have been completely justified then. Because of Virakhi marriage fans bashed him for getting angry at Sai for hiding the truth about herself and Savi.

Then Pakhi would have done some drama due to which Virat would be forced to marry her but on the wedding day Jagtap would have told Virat about Savi being his biological daughter and Virat would have called off the wedding though he wouldn't have immediately forgiven Sai. The show would have been less toxic, Virat's character wouldn't have got ruined so much and Pakhi would have still been a vamp. The show's trps would have risen a lot post leap if the makers had shown something like this.
