The freaking slap is totally and absolutely TRP gimmick and for attention grabbing and boy oh boy they did hit bulls eye. The slap got people talking and viewership too and minority who felt offended and repulsed left the show immediately.
That is reason why writer nor director are not able to justify it! It neither goes with narrative of show or flow of scene and most of all with Murtasim’s character. No doubt Wahaj was against it because this is one thing which will stand out like sore point in Murtasim’s character. And also why we don’t see meerab bringing it up! It was addressed once and then later was closed chapter.
