Realistically, get everyone in a room together and just talk talk talk until things get resolved. But ITV way :

1. Abhi talks to Ak, tells her he still loves her, etc. Ak says where was this love when you threw me out and refused to talk to me. Brings up phone calls again. Brings up respect, maybe. Etc. Breaks Abhi's heart again. ( This is already happening according to the promo, so including)

2. Abhi thinks about everything, regrets things he said and did, and wonders why ak keeps mentioning phone calls. He returns to birla house and takes Arohi aside to tell her his condition. He will always love ak etc, but will marry for roohi. Arohi agrees, hoping Ak will leave and never come back.

3. Abhi talks to roohi about his 'pari' who is back in his life, which makes him very happy. Roohi is jealous but also happy for poppy, and asks if she can also meet pari. Abhi says maybe she can one day. Abhir-Docman moments. Abhi wishes Abhir was his son and Ak, his wife. More realization of what he did that day and how much he hurt Ak.

4. Ak talks to Abhinav about giving their relationship a shot, but Nav disagrees. He thinks she still needs to resolve her feelings for Abhimanyu, and also she needs to tell him about Abhir and make everything clear, then they can move on.

5. Arohi tells manjari and manjari manipulates Ak into leaving for Kasauli. Abhir falls sick for real and is admitted to birla hospital. Abhi leaves the engagement/ some ceremony to go help Ak with Abhir. Abhi saves Abhir's life. Ak tells Abhi about Abhir and also what all she went through to raise him and how much Nav helped with everything.

6. Abhi is shattered and doesn't know what to do. He thanks Nav for taking care of his life when he just threw it away. Arohi overhears and goes into panic, informing Manjari about Abhir. Manjari grows furious and wants Ak out and Abhir in Birla house.

7. Manjari talks to Abhi about custody, but Abhi refuses. Manjari badmouths Ak, and Abhi and Nav stand up for her. Manjari faints and admits to birla hospital. Abhi feels guilty, and asks Ak if he can have some relationship with their son as docman. Ak agrees but refuses to tell Abhir till he grows older.

8. Manjari wakes up and demands Ak return Abhir. Abhi shuts her up and explains how he was wrong, and abhir has a good life, and he is doing all of this for abhir to continue to have a good life. Manjari realization. She asks how will you live without Ak, without your son ?

9. Manjari asks Arohi to stop marriage plans with Abhimanyu. Manjari apologizes to Ak, but Ak doesn't change her mind. Ak agrees to move to Udaipur permanently and let Abhir have a distant relationship with Birla Family.

11. Few years go by. Abhi-Ak still love each other, but it's more in the background of co-parenting and everything. Abhir turns 11, and Ak, Nav, and Abhi sit down and explain the situation to him. Abhir is angry. Ak gets into an accident. Nav notices how much Abhi still loves Ak and knows that she hasn't really been able to move on. Ak recovers. Nav proposes divorce with Ak and explains to Abhir that they are mutually separating but will continue loving him.

12. During this time, Arohi has found a nice guy for herself and married him. Roohi and poppy are still close and now ruhi is a lot closer to Ak as well. Manjari is repenting for her sins but happy she can still meet roohi and abhir.

13. After a couple of years, Ak-Abhi gets back together and are finally happy. They have another child they both can parent together. Nav is the funny uncle who always comes over at their house.

This was hard and yeah, not as clean as I would have liked.

Interesting take. And I see you have kept most of the characters consistent to the ones in the show. Love that. Another leap this time with positive changes sure would be a pleasant change. This one has traumatized us all for quite some time now.
