It was a shoddy work with some highlights...so, I can understand his anger/deception
However, I think that he tries to be honest with the numbers regardless his liking or not.
Btw...(off topic)...still not one word about a script for Brahmastra 2 or something else...just nothing! That makes it even more probable that Karan lied about the figures and the budget ... he may not have the money for a next mega project....and somehow I fear that his directional will not be well received.
