BK's decision to unite SaiRat is not wrong
But the way she feels no regret for P, considers her no more than a cane is the chilling part. Also her methods...anyone will try to settle the issue so as to cause least humiliation & pain to the involved parties but she is ruthless.
We don't feel bad because it is P, but if it had been any other woman...who wasn't vile, who was even truly lachaar & dependent on the family, she would have done the exact same thing without any dharamsankat - that's the cold-hearted BK we know.
What struck me when I heard thar dialogue...and why it triggered me was BK's history. For her, daughters-in-law are dispensable as long as it fits her views...whether it is Sai or Pakhi. Before SaiRat settled down, she always looked for opportunities to discard Sai like a waste paper into the dustbin - it didn't even matter that V was so attached to her.
They wasted BK's potential in the story. She could have had a separate character graph... with her finally facing the consequences of her actions.
Ashwini is a totally useless character - she makes no sense.
Agree to everything... what I meant to say that it didn't affect me because BK has always been like this as you said too...
At least she is consistent unlike others who flip sides.
For that matter, you know me... I was waiting for BK to flip since the leap. Always believed she had this potential to see the broader view of it all. All others are biased one way or another. And only BKs decision matters still. They just took too long to arrive at it.
Her redemption I have no hopes yet... it would be one token acceptance if at all is happens... but if P does worse, that might happen to.
