Her makeup and hair style is not suiting her at all. As she does not have her own sense of style she does whatever the stylist she has hired tells her to do.

And she was a perfect fit in Pathaan and her role equals that of John and SRK...in fact, it's this threesome with a very good Dimple in addition that is the forte of the movie.

That Pathaan became the success it is now has other reasons which have less to do with the movie as such, imo.
