Yes they always do that. Even during Sai V s remarriage time they hung Sai V s offscreen pics on their bed. NB had taken few pics with Ayesha then.

This year's holi is indeed very different than last 2 year's probably because Sairat's relationship dynamics have changed. They didn't show any naach gaana nor dupatta romance. I think the makers took the backlash seriously regarding Virat's two timing. If they had shown any sairat romantic dance or any such thing twitteratis would have bashed them for making Sai look like the other woman romancing a married man.

But still the focus was on Sairat. I think the symbolic shaadi was actually to calm the FD down and to justify them showing sairat eye locking scenes. Virat poured out everything in front of Sai, all his hidden feelings came out. Sai too became the old fun loving Sai even if it was just for few minutes. Her inner feelings too came out but as she is in her senses she suppressed them again.

And the best part was Pakhi ki full on beizzati. When she was Virat's bhabhi Virat still used to apply thode bahut colors on her but this time she didn't get anything from him, not even a holi wish. 😅
