Extreme expectations from Abhinav - Page 5

Unpopular opinion, but I never thought of Aroohi as an all out evil person. KS's acting skills aside, she always exhibited shades of grey. This character had a lot of potential, but they killed the essence with their poor writing and acting combined.

Also, that paying for the degree track was totally unnecessary given how she had always excelled in her academics. The accident track and taking Akshara's credit were enough to showcase her questionable morals. Not to mention the carelessness with that kid's meds.

Like there have been many times her character seemed like an afterthought rather than a well thought-out character. There is zero coherence. Abhimanyu also lacks coherence, but probably it's HC's skills that he seems more bipolar than inconsistent.

And one thing j really like about Arohi from the previous episodes is that when Abhimanyu dumped her on her wedding day, she still had her self worth intact, not once did she beg him to marry her like typical itv "vamps" do. She knew that she deserve better than a man who'd leave her stranded at the alter.

While I agree with most of what you wrote, I can't agree with, "they r always one man's woman." Holding on to a trauma bond is never helpful. The road to healing is not an easy one but understanding psychology definitely helps. Doctor Ramani's channel on YouTube is an essential resource for anymore recovering from narcissistic or any other kind of abuse.

It's bec of 2 reasons.

One is that love is too overrated as an emotion.. when women "love" someone , it's forever kinds..they never switch their feelings no matter what . N it's kinda true in real life..once someone is emotionally attached , it's very hard to break the cycle ..women r more loyal than men..they r always one man's woman .

Second is that in itv shows, the equation is never balanced..women r hardly shown objective, they always think emotionally...they r in a certain way...there is a basic flaw with the characterisation....seriously I feel all of them r nutcase...

Sometimes I felt I have something against the women , while watching itv for years..but then when I see English shows and Korean shows, I love all the women there....There isn't a single one who I dislike..

itv dekho...case in point anupama ...that woman can't stop indulging in her ex in laws affairs bec she is a "ma" , she was a beti to her ex in laws blah blah. Bc they can't show a woman being indifferent to her children ..same with akshu..she won't ever be indifferent to abhimanyu .

also, most of the audience is women so they automatically sympathize with the opposite gender ..its not the character but it's the actor who's playing the character who gets a free pass everytime...the actor who's playing these roles and chemistry chemistry chemistry is the mai culprit .

Abhi has not even realised what he has done...how can he be redeemed. He needs to know the extent of damage he has done to akshu....he has been living with family all this while....akshu was all alone...and now when she was returning for mimi's bday...his reaction was y is she coming....y doest he stay away from family for a few months??? i am unable to feel abhi's self pity....and as of now, i cant even think of akshu going back with abhi....abhi needs to work hard for it...

What i hate in ITV is they don't show genuine friendships too. Akshu and Nav can easily be the best of friends. They can show ease, having mature conversation, sukoon wali dosti.

Inhuman words and actions....I mean what can we say of a chracter a person, he digs deep into arohi's claim that akshu killed seerat....he talks to kairav...digs up all info....tries to show compasson and give her courange and confidence thta, no you should not be guolty...and hit her with that murder and many more whne she is at her weakest......what sort of a person is that.....I found his this beahviour much worse that what arohi has done to akshu....arohi has accused her in froent of everyone..akshu trusted him and he accuses her of this....how mean....

exactly.....not sure what abhinav is up to.....today also, he is trying to say that all goenkas love abhi....and abhi loves goenkas...I mean has abhi told what he has done to akshu??? what i get on seeing the episodes is that he has let everyone believe that akshu left him...did he mention what he has said to her??

i just hope that when kairav starts his talk....some more things open up....

Abhinav as a character is too good to be sustained in this toxic show. Jay soni should not extend his contract. It is like putting a sweet puppy to live amongst hyenas, he is there to be devoured. He is only being used by everyone, not only akahara is playing with his life, even the writers are making a joke out of him. I feel the most sorry of abhir he deserves a father like nav, but his biology is his enemy. I think all those who say he has over stayed his welcome, are right for the wrong seasons because he lives in a simple world where things are just and that is not akahara life. Akahara is just as messed up as abhimanyu they deserve each other, and he should get away from them if he wants to live. Abhir is collateral damage.

I'm not even sure I want a 4th generation story. I'd rather they end this show and start something better. If they do show toxicity, they should acknowledge this is not right instead of glorifying such obnoxious behavior.
