That’s just ITV trying to reinforce the Indian mentality of sacrificing everything at the altar of family’s pride. Why is rape survivors held in shame? Because society thinks that a woman’s virtue is hidden in her privates. Reduces her to just that. Similarly, there is still a large portion of society who thinks a woman being single is a crime. That she needs a man to survive. As if another flawed as hell human can help her at all. Shows like this just reinforce these ideas, daughters and sons loosing themselves to hold onto flimsy and pointless pride. We may think that people can separate reality and fiction but everything we consume has an affect on our subconscious and now imagine this being fed to a population that already has difficulty accepting progress.
Adding to it, both will get a another shock when clown couple will be caught. jiske wajah se itna kand hua they will be married happily... And more or less Sahiba will has to bear the consequences of her sister deeds, because she lost everything at that moment. If a family is like this who can't support their precious daughter, I don't like it how she was pleading and they asked her to think about her youngest sibling... Seriously
