I understand the necessity of that scene from a drama perspective but to me this was just a different way of getting validation. Shayad isiliye mujhe itna pasand nahi aaya.

Mein own goal maar rahi hoon, but just playing devils advocate here:

ek taraf dekhke lagta hai ki this is about validation, but agar yeh age difference ki issue ko side mein rakh le, dev and vidhi were just two people trying to have a good time and all these people were raining on their parade. Does it make sense to go and tell people off or just walk away fromThere. I don’t know.

But just keeping Dev’s character in mind, everything just felt a little OTT. It would have been more normal if they walked away, and had shaken it off and continued with their evening.

Ye ghadi ko girvi rakhna mujhe bhi samaj mein nahi aaya. Kaunsa 5 star hotel logon se ghadi lete paise ke badle. Ye creatives prove karna kya chahte hai? Like I get they are trying to connect with a middle class audience - but this is just plain stupid.
