Expecting Abhinav to feel guilty for keeping Abhir's truth away from Abhimanyu is unfair. He knows first hand how Abhimanyu rejected Akshara and the kid on that phone call. If anything, I absolutely hated the way he was being all chummy with Abhimanyu. Wouldn't you feel angered when you face a a person who treated your current wife(even if it is only on papers) and best friend, your only family, horribly in the past? He has seen the state of vulnerability Akshara was in the dau he met her. He has witnessed the pain which she has finally overcome after years and years of hard work. Come on, guy! This is not what what expected from you.

Also, I have come across some opinions that Abhimanyu's self pity is his redemption in itself. NO . It is not. The first step to redemption is to acknowledge the mistake you made, in its entirety! Not bits and pieces of it. And the guy who is not acknowledging the full extent of his mistakes to even himself, is far away from the path of redemption. Being miserable as a consequence of your own doing is not redemption. It starts by accepting to yourself and then to the person who you wronged that "yes, I f*cked up". Not some half as*sed excuse where you say "hey , you know that one sentence that I said? Which probably takes the lowest position in the long list of horrible things I said to you? I'm kinda sorry for saying that, okay?" and then wallowing in self pity and victimization that I wasn't instantly forgiven for a mistake that I did not even fully admit to , is absolutely pathetic to watch. Reflect on your behavior and try to do right by the person you wronged.

@BOLD: absolutely.....I also felt the same...i could not connect with this abhinav at all....and the whole scene between two abhis...was not what was expected....i wanted abhinav to speak something on terms of how abhi's behaviour had affected akshu....even though not everything...but abhinav's talks should have had some hints of that...that was totally missing...

Abhi has not even realised what he has done...how can he be redeemed. He needs to know the extent of damage he has done to akshu....he has been living with family all this while....akshu was all alone...and now when she was returning for mimi's bday...his reaction was y is she coming....y doest he stay away from family for a few months??? i am unable to feel abhi's self pity....and as of now, i cant even think of akshu going back with abhi....abhi needs to work hard for it...

Exactly! Everybody is feeling bad for him that he has been miserable all these years. Toh kiske wajah se hai bhai tu aise? Khud ke wajah se hi toh hai. Suppose, I hit my friend, then feel bad that I'm all alone now because my friend did not want to talk to me anymore. Without ever having admitted to my mistake, without having apologized tk my friend, Mera redemption kaise ho jayega?!!

Yeah. But I don't see anything like that happening again. I felt literally enraged when she addressed Manjari as maa. But I'm happy that she is behaving normally with everyone and not getting affected by anyone. No need to feel ashamed of something you've not even done.

i was too....but later i realised that she might bot be knwoing how manjari hates her...it was abhi who said all the nasty things to her....manjari ke uksaane per...per she might b unaware of level of hatred manjari has for her....so once manjari blocked her nuber, she must have realsied....

Abhinav as a character is too good to be sustained in this toxic show. Jay soni should not extend his contract. It is like putting a sweet puppy to live amongst hyenas, he is there to be devoured. He is only being used by everyone, not only akahara is playing with his life, even the writers are making a joke out of him. I feel the most sorry of abhir he deserves a father like nav, but his biology is his enemy. I think all those who say he has over stayed his welcome, are right for the wrong seasons because he lives in a simple world where things are just and that is not akahara life. Akahara is just as messed up as abhimanyu they deserve each other, and he should get away from them if he wants to live. Abhir is collateral damage.

Absolutely. He and Abhir should go back to their cute little Kasauli home far away from this negativity.
