I feel the need to defend meerub, I think we are being too harsh on her based on her past rashness. If we start from running into the fields, that was just foolishness not malicious on her part like the fish incident where she was trying to poison him, in this case she was genuinely naive, even murtasim eventually didn’t blame her for leaving the car. After that she did the best she could to survive, and when back with her husband she told him the truth. Now coming to the bullet incident are we really saying she is not right, she had no other choice once he made his choice. Murtasim is the hero of the story do we really want to see him as a gun slinging killer even if he is killing bad guys, as his wife she did save him from himself. Ok after he comes home she did apologize, explain her pov which is correct. She doesn’t sulk after and does try to pacify him which shows that she is settling into the marriage and has to be supportive.

Now the woman barter incident, meerab questions him and he challenged her back saying you do what you have to and I will do what I have to. But meerub did concede to murtasim command, she was trying to talk to the maid to help her accept her new home. So meerub is not just a bull in a china shop madly thrashing about, she was trying to be practical it was the maid who pleads to her to set her free. When murtasim decides marriage is the solution, meerub saw it as punishment, she tells him multiple times that this he is being unjust but murthu baby doesnt explain. Mind you it was the maid who first begs meerub for help, meerub wasn’t interfering or teaching the maid human rights law, she was only being compassionate towards a fellow human.

Meerub panchayat scene also what other choice did she have. If panchayat is rural court, isn’t the defendant allowed to present their case. It was murtu baby and his mom who made it an ego issue, but whose fault is it that when questioned multiple times he doesn’t explain himself. Meerub only stood up for a woman who btw begged her to stand up for her. I don’t understand why we are criticizing her for this, again what other choices did she have. She even tried the take money and run away plan, which actually was a stupid plan.

I think this kidnapping track was to show that murtasim is impulsive when angry, and he seems like a good man but doesn’t understand how to treat his wife equally. Meerub so far has been angry young woman, but she has the right values and it is murtu baby that needs to get his priorities right. Meerub does not love him as a husband, but she is becoming a good wife. Murtasim says his he love his wife, but is he a good husband. It also highlighted that when one partner is raging fire, the other needs to cool them down. The accident was totally murtu baby fault.

Two different scenes.

Seems like murtasim is ignoring meerab again by the pictures. Its been like a roller coaster ride for last two episodes. Need come light moments...I know next two episode will be haya brain washing murtasim maa begum determined to kick meerab...from day 1 the maker has showed murtasim as a sane strong headed man. Hope he don't fall for haya's word.
