But that just furthered the mockery. They never learn. It's better to end the show on a good note and keep it short than to keep draging a good thing and replacing cast. Actors lend a little bit of themselves to the characters they portray and no one can ever fill another's shoes quite the same however good they may be. Especially certain iconic characters should never be replaced. Ridhima, for me, will always be synonymous with Shilpa Anand, and I too quit after her abrupt exit. It was heartbreaking to say the least.

I remember during DMG, we had made numerous calls to star office and producers office to get Shilpa and that’s why she was brought back as Shilpa later.

They almost ruined a good thing with season 2. It was a good thing it wasn't a sequel. They should have called the show something else instead of trying to bank on the title. The OG was iconic and one of the best ITV shows to date that was ruined the least for TRPs.

But what initially got me to IF was ZaYa from Beinteha. Their divorce track to be precise. I just couldn't take how they were making a mockery of Muslim divorce laws and had to say something.

True, they never learn. I have watched couple of Pakistani shows and I love the idea of limited episode concept.

@bold: I had cried when she left. It was hard on a 13 year old to see her leave.

It was because of the popularity of season 1 that they created season 2 of KMH. You should watch it if you ever get the chance. I don't know if it would carry the same magic though (it's been quite a long time).
