I feel bad for Tanya when her mother criticized her. Giving advice on looking pretty is one thing but fat-shaming her daughter was too much.

And she isn't even fat. Just chubby and she has a round face which makes her look more chubby.

I first saw her in the drama mushkil and didn't like her at all but i am loving her as Tanya. I also like her curly hair. I am so done with watching everyone having straight hair. I want to see wavy and curly hair on screen.

exactly. it's just she's bit more healthier and that's fine, tbh. I guess it's Sofia's arc that's built up in such a way to portray a typical desi mother who's concerned for what the society says about Tanya but it seems like from the haldi ceremony from last episode like nobody cared lol. She even criticiized Alia over working overtime during the wedding like maybe if their finances were great, the criticism would've been somewhat understandable but b/c she's the only earning member & the mother prioritizing customs over family was just stupid. I personally prefer Phuppo over her.

Her character is like the copy paste of the mother from ek jhooti love story.😆

@ bold - this is exactly what my fiancé before we got engaged would keep saying. He was my brother’s bff and everytime I would do something for both, like drop them off somewhere ya fetch them water, he would say “badi khatirdari ho rahi hai, mere saath zindagi guzarny ka iraada hai kya” na layak kahi ka!!!

Finally, the drama is on track. All subplots are now integrated. I didn't mind Saif-ur-Rehman's fiance and even her father in today's episode.

Scenes I liked:

- The entire Aliya-Salman's conversation on roof

- Salman-Aliya's encounter next morning when he fall on stairs.

- Saif-ur-Rehman helping his mother by applying dye to her hair.

Dialogue I liked:

- Phuphho saying dakoo mobile, zewar, aur paise loota karte hain, ye kon se dakoo hain to lehnghe aur sharare loot kar chal diye cat walk karne.

- Saif-ur-Rehman's fiance's father saying shair banane ki koshish na karo, geedar ho geedar he raho.

- Bharosa karna seekhiye, kisi aur pe na sahi to Allah pe he sahi.

What I missed:

- At least one scene between Phuppo and Thanvi Sb.

- Sheheryar, of course.

btw some of us were expecting that Shakeel will be a match for Samiya, but he seems to be interested in Taniya.. kind of surprising..
