The entire sequence was so out of blue that it really is what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...

Sai and V went as ex spouses. Did a romantic number which made them look 'so in love'. Sai talked to Sahiba alone and V talked to Angad alone.

Didn't even meet the Dadaji who called them.

Dadaji met them in Nanded in recent past where Sai and V have never gone as per Ghum...

Isse acchha to AU main rakhte ki all is well with Sai V... that they were mistaken as couple and are pretending to be the same.

It is not something we haven't seen before. And we are expecting much worse. P has just started. She will be stooping down to new levels. It is a do or die situation for her.

Like you said, V will either go after Sai or she will be injured sending V guilt tripping.

Sai's pain hit him the hardest. It makes him vulnerable. At this point, he is somewhere getting Sai stable. But once he is assured at her end, he will shift towards catering to P. I expect that in tomorrow's episode. So this incident is to bring him back to Sai.

V knows Sai is emotional broken. And this realisation has made him more cautious with his dealings. He doesn't take Sai for granted anymore. If Sai is physically hurt it will further throw him off. And this is much needed for him to take action. Or else he will again get laid back playing housie with two homes.
