Can you please explain me difference between roles of editor and director?

This serial has lost its innocence post marriage track or makers are in cloud nine since there is boost in trp…indigestion ho gaya in logo ko. They have made vidhi n dev z character graph falling down with each episodes passed by after marriage. That priya the crap still don’t count vidhi as her confidant still that vidhi wants to poke her nose and that businessman wants to help these two ladies without knowing the truth..common sense use karo bhai ..vidhi is like dev will help ..mrs raichand, he will come to know the matter no matter u tell or police inform him. God what the writers r thinking. On top of that dabba is hanging like sword on viewers…make her dev ki sister or dev ki sister ki beti ..lol

Director usually runs the shoot - based on the story/screenplay shoots the scene.

Editors stitch the different scenes together and put the episode together. Typically I think even directors are involved in editing - editors and directors work together but I don’t know how true that is in ITV when they are constantly shooting/turnaround time is pretty quick as well.
^^this is my understanding, if anyone has a better idea, please feel free to correct me. Main na director hoon, na editor hoon 😄

Har taraf ithna raita phaila gaya ki yeh ummed ki ummed bhi nahi kar pa raha Hu..

Every other character will go bhaad me yaar ..kuch bhi dikhaye ,story progression keliye kuch tho chahiye.par dev uski character ko kyon ithna Ajeeb bana rahe hai.

At least if they are carefull with Vidhi and dev combo scenes I am ok. But ab usko bhi grahan lag gaya hai.

I never expected this behaviour from him when they are alone.at least if they continue flirty dev around Vidhi vo bhi teekh hai instead of this .

Aise me honeymoon ki news bhi khushi nahi de raha hai..

Main is Liye puchh Rahi thi kyunki editors ko bahot gaaliya padti hai,

I was confused, ke jab writers ne scene likha Hoga aur directors ne shoot Kiya Hoga to

Editors story line main to Kya hi ukhad lenge.
