I still have to see today’s episode, but it feels to me that Teri has been gaslighting Vian to make him believe that only the woman was at fault for enticing Viraj while trying to whitewash Viraj in the process. She has been successful with the woman part where Vian grew up thinking all women are gold diggers but he also saw through his dad’s character. My b-school research prof used to give us an example: one evng a man drinks whiskey with water and feels tipsy. The next evng he drinks rum with water and feels tipsy. The third evng he drinks vodka with water and feels tipsy. So he concludes it must be the water.
Like that, Katha seems to be concluding it must be something about her, she may be slipping into self-doubt. But the real common causal factor (like the alcohol in the 3 drinks) is the controlling, self-centred, ‘quick to blame others but oblivious to self’ nature of both PapaG & Nightie mama.
