Sunita gets in saba’s car with a baby that isn’t hers. Saba ask where she has stolen this baby from from. Sunita says he hasn’t stolen it she’s taken the bay after legal paperwork at the hospital . Ask saba to drive her to the hospital because the baby needs milk. Saba tells her to return the child to its mother, sunita says she doesn’t know where the mother is , she left tye hospital after giving birth . The mother didn’t even want the baby . She wanted to kill it multiple times before she was born . They go to the mall to buy baby stuff. Sunita says she’s been trying to be a mother for six years , den hearing a lot of taunts because of it. While they are sitting an old woman berates sunita for having a newborn baby out in public , says an evil eye could affect the baby, saba tells her off. Saba asks sunita if that doesn’t upset her, sunita says no because most people in the world are judgmental like that. Including her mother in law which is why she’s scared to take the baby home. Saba asks why she didn’t just drop the baby off at the orphanage if she’s scared to take her home. Sunita looks on sadly .
Flashback to Sunita’s home life

Sunita just came from the kitchen after cooking . Mikaal says to make sure she doesn’t put too much salt or else his mother will scold . She asks why he doesn’t defend her when his mother taunts her, he asks her not to take it too seriously his mother has hypertension abd just doesn’t like a lot of salt. Sunita says being a doctor sge knows the difference between a hypertension and mother in law symptoms.
She closes his laptop, asks him to look her in the eye while his speaking . Says his always keeping himself occupied with his phone or laptop. He says his working on an important presentation . She asks him if he got his tests done , he tells her not to start that . She brings an envelope with her test results from a second lab , sats she’s completely fine. He looks upset , puts the envelope down and tries to walk out. She stops him , asks him to understand her position. She’s been hearing taunts from his mother , sisters and aunts . Everyone keeps asking her when she’s having a baby , what answer should she give them? He says she isn’t the only one being questioned. He also gets questioned . She says he doesn’t understand, other women make a childless woman’s life hell. Asks him to trust her and get the test done . He says there’s nothing wrong with her, maybe he’ll never be able to give her a child . Says she can be a mother but he probably can’t be a father , tells her not to tell anyone .
scene changes to sunita sitting with two women, one holding a baby . The one holding a baby asks her to recommend something for her crying baby . Sunita starts talking to the baby, an olde lady slaps her hand away, yells her to look from a distance. The woman with the baby gets up and leaves. Family dinner and there’s talks of children , sunita gets digs thrown at her. Sunita gets up to get dessert, her husband asks his mother if it’s necessary to discuss this. She says yes, if she can’t have a baby they should do his second marriage. Says if she doesn’t hear good news in a few months she’ll do his second marriage, sunita is listening from the side .
husband and wife are talking at night , sunita tells him to start preparing for his second marriage, he says he can’t even dream of it . Says he loves her a lot, she tells him to consult a doctor and start treatment. He says he won’t be able to do that . She says no matter how long it takes one or two years she’ll bear it all and won’t tell anyone. Tells him to give her hope everything will be okay , he says this is all painful for him. She says it isn’t painful psychically, his just nervous . He says he’ll think about it. She tells him to promise her , he says he doesn’t make promises . He tells her to start her practice again , it’ll give her something to do. She says what about his mother , he says she won’t agree but start anyways . She’s happy .
Mother in law taunts her in the morning while she’s going to work . Tells her to sit at home peacefully, she leaves anyways. Husband and wife at the beach , he asks her if she’s happy she says yes. He says but his mother is very unhappy with her , she says she has never been happy with her . He says it’s strange because their marriage was his mother’s choice and she knew sunita wanted to be a doctor before marriage. She says it’s become a fashion in Pakistan to make a doctor your daughter in law then make her sit at home . The conversation once again goes towards his test. She made an appointment for him , he tells her not to force him . Says it’s complicated for him to discuss this with anyone even a doctor . Tells him to go once , if he doesn’t like it he doesn’t have to go again. Says he’ll think about it. He texts her while she’s at lunch that they’ll go to the doctor together .
They go to the doctor, the mother in law is angry . Says she’s started now she’s asking her son to visit the doctor . Says there can never be a problem with the man it’s the woman and she’ll see.
Flashback to the present
Sunita says that was two years ago, there’s been no improvement in her husband’s condition or her mother in law’s attitude. Says they don’t fight anymore , the house is just a weird silence . Says if god doesn’t bless one with a child why can’t they raise someone else’s child ? Says she really wants to raise that baby as her own. Saba says she respects her decision but in their society a woman can’t take this decision alone . Says if she can convince her husband and his family then she’ll take her home. They get to her house , saba says if she’s feeling scared she can come with her, sunita says it’s fine .
The mother in law immediately starts asking questions, asks if her husband knows . Says that baby will never be her son’s child , she doesn’t even know whose dirty blood she came from. Sunita says she came from a poor woman who couldn’t raise her that’s why she was left in the hospital.
the husband comes home , asks his mother to let them speak alone . Sunita tells him everything, he says she’s crazy . He says they don’t know anything about her and she wants to make her their baby . Says he doesn’t have courage to answer people’s questions, the baby can’t stay . She refuses , he says she can make the baby her daughter but she won’t be his daughter and she can’t stay in the house either . He won’t discuss the matter further .
the mother in law is ranting about sunita working , ask why does he give her so much leniency? What does she have over him . Says thank god his father isn’t here. He would’ve destroyed everything. He was very particular about caste, color and blood. Tells him to throw the baby out, throw sunita out too if she doesn’t agree. Sunita asks to keep the baby for the night, the mother in law says early morning she must go. The husband agrees.
Sunita and saba in the cab the next day, saba asks what she’ll do. Sunita says she wants to go to the address the mother left . Says she wants to unite her with her mother for the last time . Saba says if the mother wanted her she wouldn’t have left her like this. Sunita agrees but says maybe seeing the baby will change things .
they go looking for the mother , a man opens the door. The mother’s name is razia, the guy says his wife’s name us salma he doesn’t know a razia. She tells the guy the issue, he asks her if she’s mad? Whose random baby has she brought , whose razia and who gave them his address . Tells them to leave or else he’ll file a police report .
Sunita tells saba to take her to her mother’s house, saba asks why? Sunita says the baby’s mother left her and she’s leaving her husband for the baby . She’s named the baby shifa. Saba takes her to her mother’s house .
She picks up another passenger in a burqa with a man. Saboor’s character who takes it off in the car. They’re talking about a party . She’s a social media star and saba recognizes her, saba compliments her beauty then awkwardly looks on . The episode ends
