Yumna is a very smart woman, I feel she does lot of gol in her interviews to get people to “like” characters in the show. I remember once when someone asked her about how badly Azlan has treated Azka in IEL she said but he is an amazing man, Aap rukiye dekhiye, he is a man tahy everyone will love. So yah, she does this thing with her charming smile and disposition which btw I totally love and fan ….but jussayin

It feels so weird to hear "suhagan" in a pakistani drama becauae isn't suhagan a hindu concept

The hindi for married/shadishuda is vaivahit whereas suhagan refers to only married hindu women

Even shadi ka shagun is hindu concept

suhaag is an Urdu and Hindi word. Did you mean that way? The concept exists in both Pakistani and North Indian culture. In fact in south india, the word is translated from the Sanskrit word saubhagyavati. Religion (Hindu) has nothing to do with it, it’s cultural. Maybe “Hindu” and “Hindi” are getting mixed up. There are distinct differences between religion (Hindu), language (Hindi/Urdu) and culture (concept of suhaag)

Suhaag is a Shuddha hindi word but maybe its not related to religion and just a cultural thing

Just found it weird😆

In another pak drama, someone called the female lead Sati savitri now thats definitely a hindu concept

I was not complaining though, It feels nice when someone speaks a shuddha hindi word in a pak drama

Ahhh... This is my first wahaj ali show that I am sort of following.

I mean I saw him on ghisi piti mohabbat but wasn't really an ardent follower. Neither did I watch ehd e wafa, just some scenes here and there, registered that he is really handsome. Dragged myself with episode 1 of fitoor and did tauba tauba I am not doing that to myself, don't really know what happened in that show...

again it’s Hindi ,…not Hindu, it’s language and cultural and not religion. Culture is wide spread and hence language is used to spread it, religion isn’t. So for example, when my Muslim friend in India hits her head and says Hai Ram mai exam mei yeh likhna bhul gayi! or a Hindu friend hits her head and hai rabba Mujhe yeh karna chahiye thaa or some such…it’s cultural and not practicing those religions by saying those words.

the example of Sati is not Hindu (religion) it’s cultural - in the Hindi speaking belt where the practice of sati existed and hence the word was attached to women who are highly pati vrata. Savitri is a godess most Hindu women pray to and the word sati savitri is used like a moniker. Sati is not practiced or was never practiced by hindus in south of india,

Sorry yeh lamba ho gaya…but you know what I mean,

By god he has done some terrible shows. for me the turning point was Jo Bichar gaye, it’s a very very serious drama about the Bangladeshi revolt which I must commend Pak Tv to address. And he was intense in that role.

Wasn't Sati Bhagwan Shiv's wife and she was regarded as one of the most pativrata women in hindu mythology so I dont understand how is it not a hindu concept

Religion is often inspired by the culture of the place where it originated from

Hinduism originated in ancient India so of course there will be some overlapping between religious concepts and cultural practices

Communities existed with their own folktales and traditions before hinduism

Hinduism is a vast religion so who are you to decide whats hindu and whats not

Its not like you have read all the vedas and granth

Please dont mix up everything with "culture"

By that logic People in bihar dont celebrate ganesh chaturthi so is ganesh chaturthi not a hindu festival now and merely a maharashtrian culture festival
