First I don't like this majnupanti 😆This is not normal behavior ..n ishq mei pagal majnu who does such things don't end up well , even if they marry .

Compare this to zindagi gulzar hai where zaroon and his mom talk abt the class difference n whether he will be able to adjust with kashaf..subtle yet impactful ..I love such meaningful conversations where both the parties make complete sense ..his mom tried to tell him but uptil a point ..then it was his decision..

I prefer such scenes over dramatics ..plus it doesn't send a good msg to the youngsters...

Maheer is immature , but she too , given the situation, compromised with her fate ..Saad obviously , I love him for this very reason..he didn't turn into a devdas , cry over one sided love ..areeb however is an extreme character so I don't relate to him much . I hope maheer sees the diff between the 2 boys and then make a choice..

As for who out of Areeb and Saad is a better person, of course, its Saad. However, when you have a number of proposals and you're asked to choose one out of them, you consider which person out of all the proposals is the best match and choose accordingly. This doesn't happen in love. In love, many times you choose the less good person over a better one just because you love him. Maheer loves Areeb, not Saad so of course her choice is the one she loves. Akhir Maheer mein aisa kya hai jo Saad usko itni Mohabbat karta hai. Love doesn't need any reason or logic.

The difference between Saad and Areeb's behaviors after losing Maheer is because Saad's love is one-sided and Areeb's love is two-sided. When Maheer told Areeb that she's getting engaged to Saad, he said to her that if she's happy with this relation then he won't bother her again. I don't think Saad would show the same calm on losing Maheer if she loved him and others parted them.

Mahi was actually better today in comparison to other days.She sacrificed for her dad,made a compromise,let go of her selfishness but i so want her to feel guilty for Saad getting dragged in this mess without any reason.If they show Mahi genuinely feeling bad for Saad for getting dragged then viewers will actually love it and her bashing will be reduced.

About the other two being reduced to side characters,totally agree!Why is Hania being treated as such,she should be getting equal screen space like Wahaj,she is the main lead as well,Zaviyar is 2nd lead so i can understand that.

HDDCS worked because nandini was Central character and had great chemistry with both sameer and vanraj. She was also very charming and likeable so viewers actually sympathized with her

But here imo the show focuses way more on saad and mahir as a character is totally bland and forgettable ,thats why she is getting bashed

It is very weak story telling. Why would saad marry her and then tell her the next day that he will leave her? Like really? Does he expect Areeb's mom to happily accept a divorcee for her ladla beta when she wasn't ready to accept her even now?

yaar there is no point comparing ZGH a with any of the recent shows, dil bechain ho jaata, sar hamara phatne lagta hai. I think even Umera was unable to repeat that kind of balanced couple in any of her other writings. That show is on another level. Honestly that writing is very deep, every character both Zaroon and Kashaf ko aisa sancha hai, that as viewers we are constantly looking for Zaroon and Kashaf. The fact is that mold is broken. In that show, people and characters were written as “reasonable” people no matter which side of the economic strata they belonged to. It wasn’t an OTT show where emotions are at Ek sau Ek temperature.

@ ctrl alt I meant only in these two episodes he gave takkar ka,in the sense he made me feel for him. I agree with Krinya, he is essentially a Romeo type, dekha, pasand kiya, obsess ho gaya Aur Abb jaake phir se some unreasonable hi harkat karega.

My concern is really how will they make Saad and Maher fall in love, if it is just her falling for a straight upstanding guy then it’s a bore. It has to be Maher hating him for being there for her, it has to be Maheer questioning him, shaking him and asking why didn’t he ever tell her ask for her. And her realizing his way of loving is what she has grown to love. That’s a love story of equals. Because that’s all we want as romantics, a love story of equals.

It’s also the time frame of it all. Frankly we loved that a man was willing to listen to what she wanted, a husband who loved her wanted her to be happy. Btw, it wasn’t new, this was there in Voh Saat Din and HDDCS was a copy or a 90s version of 80s VSD.

In 2023, why the hell do I need to have a husband who will take me to the man I love, Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai. So if Maher was the central character, HDDCS would not have worked. In this weak writing and plot, they had to make Saad the central character. I had said this before, unless they now make it like Tanu weds Manu - which then places Maher in the center, this show will be thoda boring for todays time. We will all do our aahs and oohs for Saad and face palm for Maher.

mujhe nhi dekhna,saad doing another of his mahaanta and taking Mahi to Areeb and saying "lo Areeb tumhari amanat"🤣...Like go to hell😡..She is married to you,give your marriage a fair chance naki agle hi din chor dunga wala dialogue😡..Usse woh mahaan toh banega per mujhhe nhi chahiye aur mahaanta.I want Mahi to get angry when he tells her about leaving her and give her character fair treatment,she is an amazing actress,she doesnt deserve to be reduced in a side character,put her character on the forefront just like Saad's and give me a tashan of equals,tabhi maza ayega na😉..

Wohi na shaadi hi kyun kiya agr agle din chorna tha usse😡.The marriage happened bruh,just move on and accept the reality and give it a chance!And why is he so sure that Mahi wont ever love him!Does he really think Mahi loves Areeb to such extent that she would never love anyone else when she hardly even knew Areeb..Atleast show her your version of love,which is beautiful and Mahi is young,she never came across love,she thought her infatuation to be love because she never felt the emotion called love from the opposite gender!
