Lol 1 month so 8 days of no elimination and randomness. Cause of IBD i guess

Last season was 10 months

One of the best episodes of the season with least drama.

ARR as a guest is always boring but this time he was little better.

Chirag was good, could have been even better but good overall. His voice suited the song very well.

Senjuti sang beautifully as always. I liked the first song more.

Sonakshi - I think she was the star of the episode. Be it her 2 main songs, singing on different keys spontaneously or that singing Sheya's part during Rishi's performance, she just nailed it. Deserving MBD and performer of the day.

Rishi - Great as usual. Loved his performance.

Shivam - Another great performer. Performed both the songs really well.

Bidipta - Good to see that she is attempting challenging songs and not playing it safe. She has seen some remarkable growth.

Deboshmita - She is singing these kind of songs very well. Really a good singer.

Navdeep - One of very rare instances when I enjoyed his performance. Nothing extraordinary but good.

28th Jan ARR special

Just one word - WOW! 👍👍

Chirag -Roja janeman. A decent effort. Not bad, not great either. His voice suited the song & that went in his favour. He is limited as a singer, which came to the forefront, despite a good effort.

Senjuthi :- Yuva & Roja. Superb rendition. Her voice suited the first song well. 👍

Sonakshi :-Chup ke se & Dil hai chotta sa. An outstanding performance throughout. I didn’t want it to end; she made me drown in ARR’s compositions. Together with Naveenji on flute, they created magic. 👍👌. It was awesome. MBD given - finally.

Rishi :- Gajini song. Going by his own standards, it was an underwhelming performance. Something was amiss. Surprisingly, I couldn’t connect. Maybe coz he has set his own benchmark higher, I felt it wasn’t one of his best.

Deboshmita :- The 2 Rangeela songs . She is been groomed on Ashaji’s songs like Sayli. But unlike Sayli who just copied Ashaji, Debo brings in something of hers. Quite commendable. Did full justice. Esp loved Yaayi Re with Adi chipping in as usual with his part. Good show. 👍

Shivam :- Two superb compositions sung amazingly :- Tu hi re & Ae ajnabi. I have always maintained that Shivam is more versatile than Rishi. It becomes more & more apparent these days. Just the required softness & the much needed power - he beautifully captured the feeling of longing & love in both the numbers. Couldn’t agree with HR more when he said ‘ samajh chahiye to render so well’ Outstanding performance.👍👍 MBD well deserved.

Bidipta :- Kehna hai kya & Sunta hai. Both rendered superbly. This girl has shown such incredible growth, her voice modulations are lovely. Her tonal quality is also quite unique. MBD given.

Navdeep :- Well, we have heard better versions of Arziyaan, definitely. The composition itself is so sublime, it connects to your spiritual chord. Navdeep was better compared to his recent performances. To some extent I could forgive him for butchering Rang de Basanti chola last week 😁. MBD given, as expected.

Asides….

* Hidden talents to the fore :-

Senjuthi as a composer - Great! Loved it, Rishi & Senjuthi sang well together, their voices gel nicely.

Sonakshi picking up different scales correctly without instrumental support.. Incredible 👏👍

* Special mention by jury 😊:- Sona’s alaap in Rishi’s song & Shivam’s interlude of sargam in Bidipta’s. Too good. 👍

* Script mein gadbad? 🤔

HR back to his kalpanik universe of Ridipta 🙄 - but Radha kaise na jale didn’t seem to fit in for the situation he gave.🤔.

* ARR was more vocal & expressive compared to last time. 👍

* Sparklers of the evening :- Sonakshi, Shivam & of course Naveenji. 👍💕👌

And finally…. Arz kiya hai… Woh samosa hi kya aloo bina… Jaise gaane ARR ka, Flute bina.. 😁💕

A thoroughly enjoyable episode - no drama, high on music, just music, the guest being a no-nonsense person of few words who lets his work speak - and how!!👍👌🤗

That movie song Bidipta sang at the endof Yesterday episode they could have given to Sonakshi coz Bidipta vaise bhi usko bahot screen time milta hai.

When you have a right guest aisa hi hota hai but can't say same thing about today's episode though Kjo in the house and drama na ho impossible but honestly I like ARR personality he doesn't speck much but like you said his works speaks.

Kal ke drama ki kami aaj poori ho gayi. With KJo as a guest, you shouldn't expect anything less😆

But still quite enjoyable episode singing wise.

Except Navdeep I enjoyed everyone's performance. Girls rocked again. Sonakshi just too good. Deboshmita delivered one of her best performances.

Loved Kesariya by Rishi as I had when he sang it in the theatre round. But I wanted him to sing any different song. Probably Rasiya, my favourite song from Brahmastra.
