I felt same watching one of the episode. Do not remember which one. 
later if we read summary of episodes it sounds more like two sisters and a male leads. The way I feel it may go typical ekta Kapoor ways.

ML loves FL’s sister but get married to FL who is all about sacrificing and willing to take any insult and humiliation in the name of culture and self respect.
