The problem is, satya does not know Amba is still manipulating and no one could think that she can go to extent where she wants to have fake report. Also, it is very obvious and natural to ask the person who is bringing the news, how do you know.
If dev and vidhi does not know, why does satya want to ask them. I do not think anything is wrong there.
we as a viewers do know what amba is and how low she could go. Satya does not.
