Now this is something to be proud of. Otherwise indians just write 'i am proud to be indian' for no reason. And they don't even write it in proper english😡

Global validation is important for every country. There is nothing wtong in seeking validation from the west. People are too egoisitic these days. It boosts the economy and popularity of the country.

If Indians want India to become a first world country, they SHOULD seek global validation in every way.

In this exact case I don’t think it was racism as much as almost no one in that room really knew about RRR, Natu Natu, or MM Keeravani. It was unfamiliarity that resulted in all attendees just doing the bare minimum of clapping.

And what a lively, energetic song it is...I loved it so much when watching RRR...and I bet there are many more from now on who will enjoy the music and the dancing!

Regarding the reaction of the audience, it was a surprise. So what? The concerned people are so happy...and that makes ME happy 😊

I guess the jury really wanted to give Rajamouli a tangible recognition...like at the Oscars, they wanted to give a recognition for a work of art.to Rahman And music gives poignant (movie-) memories, especially songs and movie themes...one may forget details of the movie but not the feeling ...

We will see if this is repeated at the Oscars.

There is no fault in striving for/dreaming of an Golden Globe award or an Oscar. Other nations do it, too. Both are still the globally most cherished awards (although - I admit with a heavy heart - without lobbying they are out of reach...and that needs money, connection and support).
