The other singers were 10 times better than him. 😆
even prince narula is a better singer/rapper than this guy.
I'm watching the episode now.
Ikka was good, lyrics clear and understandble and I really enjoyed my first foray into Indian rap.😳 ..My fave is Coolio (listen to gangsta's paradise I get shivers!).
Stan was good as MC but his voice is monotone as a rapper so that was disappointing. However, the acoustics did him no favours but his raps are very heartfelt and very indian in origin whereas the rest had more western music. Stan rapped about family, his last one was about mum and dad but his voice was drowned by the music. So maybe in other circumstances it would have been better.
I think rap is like slam poetry, first your like 'what the hell is this' and then the more you listen and get exposed, the more you know what you like. I love slam poetry and rap in some ways is that as well.
