And sheesh what’s with people assuming violence against women or misogyny just coz it was directed by vanga?

I can just imagine the stories and articles predicting said misogyny even before the film released …🙃🙃….

If Vanagas interview is the basis of all this , he said he was gonna make a violent film not a “violent against women” film ….

And even if there is violence, rest assured ranbir is shown as a certified pshycopath based on the voice clip when the film was announced ….so he’s not being shown as correct when he does do problematic things in the film…which was everyone’s gripe with kabir Singh that it showed shahid as the hero despite his problematic behaviour …

I personally didn’t look at kabir Singh as a “hero heroine glory” story… he was an ass, she was an idiot, an ass and an idiot can still have a love story with a “happy” ending …and it can be watched without assuming anyone who liked it is also an ass ….✌️

Kabir Singh didn’t become a hit because it was mysoginistic and all mysoginists loved it ….it became a hit because whether ppl like to admit it or not, it had good technique ….the way the characters were established , how student life was captured , the humor, the music, the way it showed bad breakup…people connected to that …the screenplay was interesting and overall it was an entertaining film

Vagna is a piece of shit for his tons of problematic statements. But there is nothing wrong in making s movie about psychopaths.

This movie has Ranbir, BW will be much nicer than they were to Kabir Singh, even if it's just as or more problematic.

Vanga wouldn't have been able to put this poster out with huge south or BW superstars.He is still inexperienced.

Holding the bloody axe in his armpit, and smoking-as he expects no further danger is cruel and sadistic.Slasher films and horror films have different set of stars. Heroes play antiheroes.This poster shows a chilling, cold personality.Film may be different.But if the poster was to shock..it made most recoil.

SLB tried so hard to make Khilji,crazy,funny,love obsessed ..sing love songs.. making a caricature out of the role..Because he just couldn't make him all black.RS was his hero of future films.

This is a risk..
