Rohit Shetty should stick to making his cars fly...and his cop universe.....making love stories and Comedies is not his forte...🤔

I don't think he was ever a fan favourite per se.

He got lucky with his paring with Deepika both in reel & real life. The buzz and being Deepika's husband/ bf gave him a huge boost in his career. If I talk about my perception, hardly anyone I know in real life who are BW fans, like him as an individual. There're many transitioned fans who are mainlt Deepika's fans.

And his off screen antics are pure nonsensical. No doubt he's a good actor but from when that's the criteria for success LOL

People have simply rejected him, it is difficult stand up from this situation. The stardom is all about perception, once it is over it is downhill for actors. I have been written on this forum 2-3 years ago about being a clown isn't sustainable at all.

90s had a lot of room for error due to no social media and stuff like that.

If you followed the way Cirkus was promoted more as Rohit’s movie than Ranveer’s and how Rohit was at the front and center of all the promotional events, the writing about Ranveer’s dwindling stardom was already on the wall.

I am no fan of Ranveer and his over the top shenanigans, but giving credit where it is due, Ranveer, the actor is talented..

Sad that he delivered a hatrick of flops with 83, Jayeshbhai and now Cirkus. But let's not forget he is the same dude who had delivered back to back hits with three SLB movies followed by Gully Boy and Simbaa.

Hope he bounces back with next in his line. I also wish him to mellow down in the meantime. Any ott display during a lean phase of career would only reinforce his attention seeking tendencies..

Agreed. He is a very talented actor and I have liked even his Jayeshbhai but don’t have the courage to check out Cirkus. Also agree about him mellowing down at least now. He should completely disappear otherwise and only speak through his work.

I am a Ranveer fan but I could not even stand the trailer so I knew what was coming. Rohit seems overconfident about his films succeeding at the box office

83 deserved to be a hit
