Considering he's already 37, he'd be 41 by next WC. He hasn't announced but it's a long shot that he'd play. Amidst leaving Man Utd and the drama there has affected him badly. He lost his twin son in April this year and that has had drastic impact on his game. He's always been incredibly supportive of his teammates and very kind. But yeah he was difficult in younger days, but eh which player isn't if truth is to be told. He's had a bad year. Losing a child is not easy. It's long term grief.
