I think He did have idea what media will be asking, rem its not the first time media surrounded him. That day they crowded outside Vidhi’s house too when he gave her credit card. They asked same exact questions. So he may hv called her to be prepared for the repercussions after his statement.

I know this much that being stuck in this situation He wouldnt call to ask if satya can visit her house 😅

Btw i am not able to see episode 128 on Hulu hotstar, i was so scared that they stopped uploading! But then i tried playing epi 127 and then after it ended, auto play started epi 128. Its still not showing in episodes list. Wonder why. 😕

Yes possible hai ki he was calling to alert her about the storm just about to hit. Satya visit he may not aware. She might not tell him about it. Tabhi bts mein he was asking what has happened.

The way Devs restlessness is shown is so out of place for me... jab he was trying to distance Vidhi from himself tab agar uska restlessness dikhate to that would be A Major Conflict and could hv worked as a Plot point motivate the narrative move forward organically. As in he is having this internal turmoil ke pyar hai par doori banani hai...

abhi like a punishment to him.. ke pyar confess kiya itni himmat juta ke aur mila kya doori... suffering.. pain as punishment for confession... and thats misplaced emotion.

Like what he must be feeling wasnt just restlessness but Heartbreal wo bhi bina kisi galti ke but for baring his heart... showing his innermost feelings.

and ab aage the way narrative will proceed will be forced to bring these 2 together... he isnt fighting the battle thats not his own battle. he has no wat in it until Vidhi's parents come around.

He is just being punished for confessing and accepting his feelings and that plot point but a not the one to show his character as strong but on backfoot.

@bold : this 👍🏼... from start he was not in favour to listen his heart as he knew, this current stage was inevitable....it was bound to happen even if this fiasco thing nahi bhi hota...

Either Vidhi tells parents or they came to know like this...they wud have reacted same...

Now he must be feeling galat hi kar diya confess karke....he must be regretting that somewhere down the line, he encouraged Vidhi to get into this. He was fine all along by keeping his feelings in control... he had soft corner for Vidhi and he was obvious Abt it.

Even now, writers have a chance to slow it down....that don't rush in wedding ... let things go slow ...so that each one gets time to figure out things...be it Vidhi’s parents, Vidhi Dev themselves...

@bold : exactly for blazer & white hair, this is the main reason .... that age gap wud haven't been this obvious... with Iqbal's natural look....how he is in real... age difference dikhta hi nahi...
