She did what the song was meant to do. Invite the lowest common denominator to the theaters.

On a sexy scale, it was more to the crass end.

But Alia can't pull off anything on that scale.

Besharam song wasn’t anything to write home about and neither was the video, but Deepika looked great and IMO did what the song required her to do very well. Deepika has that screen presence and sex appeal and sensuality to do it and pull something like this off. Alia Bhatt does not. Frankly I don’t think the likes of Parineeti or Shraddha could do it either so it’s not just Alia.
