My only issue was Sai wanted to avoid all this, and she bore the brunt of V's memory lapse and arrogance. She had to bear his taunts and became the target of other's joke as well, with no fault of hers.

Songs you interpreted right...they tweaked from original lyrics. P was right in her choice but V didn't care nor did he today. V was looking at Sai only with his hamdum reference. N yeah Sai's version of azib dastan had banaoge, it's yet to be made. But it symbolized her sadness at end with yeh shaam jab bhi ayegi, tum humko yaad aaoge...original line. Because that jahan was hers, her place.

This I felt was in reference to her anniversary, which V conveniently forgot and Sai remembered and she has always. So for Sai, she always remember him on that day and will do so in future too.

i think that show aired on SB so expected very low trps...Not all shows we can categorize as best story just because of trps..That show had many undercurrents with comic relief..Our sai bai is indeed that rajnikaant bahu who serves her in laws without any expectations but never gets anything in return...The ML was pretty much like Virraht..He was never happy with her selfmade robot wife..

Some possibilities from here...

Pakhi will fall from the cliff and lose her eggs (they fell out due to high jump), so she has to borrow an egg from Sai to make a baby with Virat. And the circle continues.

Pakhi becomes injured and infertile, therefore Virat also has to get another surrogate for her. Then he can also convince Sai to make another baby and find a surrogate for her too.

Maybe he has partial amnesia from the accident he had after Sai walked out. He has forgotten the portion about pakhi's wrong doing during surrogacy and her jail term etc. When he came to consciousness he was informed by his family in typical itv serial mode that sai walked out because of some small misunderstanding and due to that he lost vinu. Pakhi has taken good care of him and brought him back to life or something similar. In short his brain has erased that incident due to which sai walked out. Just thinking aloud here.....
