Baba saab did pighlo hearing about the baby. But the redemption or the change of heart or the regret is primarily cuz of the fact that he ended up killing Shamsher and losing him.

He transfers 50 percent to Mehak as a way to apologise and to give his grand child his share.. also very much out of love for Shamsher ..
