I figured this long time ago. 😆The director is smart. No negativity or Villains. You won't be able to name a villain. So the public likes it. This is kind of fairytale story where everything is grand and shiny and blingy. Indians like these stuff. My sister always keeps a lookout for the weddings in this show. 😆 I doubt any other show has even quarter of the budget this has. The weddings are super famous. And when everything was about to end they enrolled a Superstar with a massive Fanbase in Harshad. In ITA recently and Harshad won popular actor for just 6 months in the show instead of Mohsin with 4 years in show. So its a combination of factors.
