Maybe it was Soha's car I don't know... Whatever this scene meant added to the storyline's nonsense...

I think it is fair to assume that we all are extremely disappointed with the way the story has unfolded. We were promised a mature story based on individuals battling their inner demons together, especially Ayesha helping Basit come to terms with his trauma.

While Basit’s character has grown by leaps and bounds, Ayesha’s character on the other hand has regressed a great deal. Looking at the way she is reacting without thinking, being foolish not naive anymore to not doubt Soha’s intentions, refusing to communicate with her husband after she repeatedly preached about moving forward from the past and forgiving others and is taking everything to ego shows that is not an ideal life partner for anyone let alone a wonderful and internally sensitive man like Basit.

How do you guys envision Basit’s ideal life partner to be? What characteristics should she possess? I’m just curious.

Like Ayesha was in the beginning . 😆

I told u guys Ayesha is losing it..and she lost it..but it's completely the writers fault..I told ya they just can't process romance and love ..a girl in love would never badmouth her husband so much , not name call him in front of his friends , family , not threaten to leave ,threaten to suicide , kill his child..a girl in love would be forgiving, kind , listen to her husband , talk to him ..yes ppl get angry , they say and they do nasty things in anger but they come around.. ayeshas problem is totally different ..all her accusations on basit are foolish .

hell even someone like kashaf couldn't resist this feeling ..someone who was so averse to love , trusting men .

I agree with you. Ayesha is loosing it at this point and the makers are to blame for this. There has been no positive growth in her character. While her husband has truly moved forward from his bitter experiences and is a devoted husband, she keeps finding excuses to blame him, throw their past in his face and run away from him.

The thing about love is, that it is truly compelling. You may be angry at the one you love and inadvertently respond harshly but at the core of the things you love them. So you find reasons to forgive and forget (not saying this should be the case for everyone but Basit hasn’t done anything irredeemable). Love makes you bend your ego but Ayesha in the garb of self respect is ruining her greatest relationship. Basit’s love at this point is do intense and unconditional that it is hard to find someone so devoted. Ayesha I believe doesn’t value this man which is so contrary to what we were shown in the beginning of their relationship where Ayesha used to yearn for Basit’s glance, words of appreciation and companionship.

True about Kashaf, despite being truly headstrong and riddled with past trauma, she couldn’t fight against this tide of love for very long.

I thought today was last episode.

The show is supposed to end mid-December. Which could mean that the next episode is the second last episode. Unless now they are deliberately stretching things out till the end of this month. For all purposes, I think it would be better for our collective sanity to think the show ended the night Basit dragged Ayesha home.

You know the way things have turned out, I am inclined to feel that Basit was right all along and his father was completely delusional to think that his son needed a wife. I think if we have learnt anything from the last few episodes, it is that Basit would be much better off without a wife! Not a single woman in his life brought him happiness. In fact, not even woman. Not a single person close to him has brought him happiness or peace. He has been manipulated by everyone and betrayed by some.

The take away from this is, do not marry. It can only bring in a torrent of grief into your life. Keep your friends at a distance because they can betray you. Do not make the mistake of opening your heart to anyone because they will take it, twist it into a pulp, toss it in the dirt and then trample upon it with spiked boots.

So, if that was the message the writer was aiming for, well done, I say. Mission accomplished.

yeah, the current idiotic plot wouldn't have hurt as much had the beginning of the show not been so beautiful.
