Itti taareef ke liye shukriya. Aur point out karne ke liye thanks ki it's the Dev we all admire, likhte time har ek step pe yahi thha mere dimag mein, "zyada toh nahi ho raha, out of character toh nahin jaa raha".

Acha ek baat batana sachi sachi ki yahan jo elements of progression (Meri Vidhi, hug, holding hand, desperation) daala hai jiske liye inn logon ne thappad aur jail kand kar diya, were they justified with the same intensity. Matlab simple shabdon mein, bina faltu drama ke only emotions ke saath yeh saara progression justifiable laga aapko.

Like ek baar pehle discussion hua thha na humara ki what will make Dev go beyond the barriers of age and society and take a stand aur maine bola thha Vidhi ki khushi ke khatir kyunki woh usse yun tuta hua haara hua nahin dekh sakta. Aur Vidhi although strong hai but emotions se sab overwhelmed ho hi jaate hain na. Did I justify my point of view here because yeh likhne ka washi motive thha mera.

PM is fine and posting here is also fine, better actually. Baaki apne writer mandali ko tag kar dungi. Even if I can't write on some ideas, baaki log likh sakte hain. Or another idea, we can make a separate post to discuss this, that will be more helpful. But depends on you, whatever you prefer, I am fine with everything.

Here are my thoughts on how you can take this OS fwd. Please feel free to take it or leave it. :)

Option 1:

You can bring back Arjun. Now, it's up to you how he is going to be - positive / healed / still in love with Vidhi /...

Vidhi would naturally be friendly with him and Bimla can attribute her daughter's changed behaviour to this guy. That way, Vidhi won't need to lie to her mom and Bimla won't ask her any questions immediately. It would also highlight... or rather bring Dev's "Meri Vidhi" into the forefront.

Option 2:

You can bring in Amba. A conversation between either Amba and Dev or Amba and Vidhi... or maybe the three of them where she fuels Dev's insecuritues about the age gap and Vidhi's insecurities about her own self-worth / confidence. ViDev - each can defend the other. Would make an interesting scene that can break the impasse.

Option 3:

If you'd rather not involve any kind of 3rd angle, you can have a picnic for the baal-ghar kids. Maybe the teacher is unable to make it at the last minute and these two end up going together. A game that they play along with the kids, one of the kids gets hurt and they take care of her... it can show how they make a great team when they work together, their thoughts in-sync...

This age gap is not a small issue in Dev's mind. He needs to know and believe that Vidhi has a choice and still is choosing him. And Vidhi needs to get out of the guilt and take the chance. Have the confidence to take that chance. She needs to choose her present with him and leave the "possibility" of a future without him (as was the case of Satyavati and Shantanu) in the hands of destiny / fate.
