Dreams
Dreams – A window to our inner being.
Ironically, most of us are unable to know and understand our true self completely in our lifetime. The one that resides within us. And our dreams are our gateway into that world within us. We have dreams that can be vivid, hazy, stupid, crazy and what not. Sometimes, it makes perfect sense and sometimes we can’t even connect to it. Sometimes, we can’t even recall what we saw. But the fact is every dream is an information and has a reasoning that we may or may not be aware of. Something that is safely registered in our subconscious mind. We may or may not understand it, sometimes interpret it incorrectly. But at the end of the day, they are messages, signs, intuition, fears, desires, insecurities. It is all US. A part known to our conscious mind, but mostly known to our subconscious mind.
Remember when our parents used to be behind us to wake up early in the morning to prep for the exams. The saying “Early to bed, early to rise, keeps man wise”? Then a belief that dreams that occur during early morning come true?
What is so special about this early morning timing?
They call this time before sunrise as “Brahma Muhurta”. The time of creator, of knowledge. Perfect time for studying, mediation and manifestations. Because our mind is very receptive and easily absorb information and knowledge that is available. They operate at high vibration levels. Hence, the connect with dreams. We connect with our subconscious mind more easily and understand the language. The transmission of information is more accurate with a higher possibility of interpretation and realization of dreams. It is like our energies align with our goal.
P’s dreams have always been a representation of her fears, her insecurity. And indirectly of her obsession and delusional state.
During MiMo track she had once dreamt of Sai and V’s getting physically closer. At that point, P knew that V loved Sai. She had lost the chance at V’s heart. So, while she played and prayed for V to leave Sai and come back to her, she feared that Sai and V will consummate their marriage. And this fear had given rise to that dream.
Later, when Sai and V confessed and got remarried she somewhere accepted that she would never get V. She lost all her hopes around that desire.
But she was always unhappy with any progress V-Sai made as a couple. She measured her own happiness through V-Sai milestones. When Sai-V announced their pregnancy, she never expressed any happiness. But her first thought was if she will get the same love and affection that Sai received, if she became pregnant. Her happiness tied not to what she wanted, but having what Sai had.
When Samrat died, her hope for that “supposed” happiness died. But she had become obsessed with the idea of becoming a “Mother”. She was already planning to separate V-Sai, when the miscarriage happened. But with the revelation that Sai can never become a mother, the P who was always competing with Sai, rejoiced. Something that Sai denied her, is being denied to Sai as well. DRAW.
Her hopes to win back V, was revived through her revenge from Sai.
We need to notice how her preferences change with Sai. When Sai had V she wanted him, when Sai became pregnant, she wanted to conceive as well. But once Sai lost her child, she was back to get V. The “Child” which had become a source of happiness became invalid only to become a means to win V.
She had always failed at every step against Sai. She knew of V’s desire to become a father, to have a child of his own. She knew this was one thing that Sai could not provide him and she could. Her hope at getting V. So first she slyly suggests V’s remarriage for an heir. Here she went wrong in her calculation. She thought V’s need for his own blood is greater than his love for Sai. So she then offered to become the surrogate. And plotted to get her way through this plan. She was so obsessed with the idea of giving V his child, she completely ignored that the baby also belonged to Sai. She played her biggest gamble, biggest game here. She risked her own life with it.
Her dream during this stage is her understanding of V and her happiness. P carrying Vs child while he attended to her and her needs like a doting father. The difference between husband and father clearly faded. Sai forgotten, they were now a happy family.
As she delivered, her obsession with baby resurfaced. Yes, we can credit this to Post partum depression. But this was also the result of how her hopes got thwarted. Sai was back with her baby and her husband. And she wanted the baby back now.
After Sai left, V lost himself. The grief of losing his wife and child. P didn’t care about Sai’s loss in V’s life. Because, she wanted to fill that herself. And she covered his child’s grief through Vinu.
When Sai returned, she had become secure through this mental equation of hers. She had given him Vinu and now she became indispensable as his wife. Sai was neither the wife, nor the mother of V’s child anymore. In P’s eyes, she had nothing to offer V, while P had everything he wanted. All that was left was to win V’s love.
Just like during surrogacy, she intended to get his love through his child. She fought everyone to treat Vinu, only to use that as a point in winning V.
Just when she thought that she had won “HER HAPPINESS”, she faced her biggest defeat…..SAVI.
Savi represented her defeat at her biggest game. She became the threat to destroy all the hopes at her happiness.
If we carefully note, this is when P’s turned upside down and her insecurities unearthed. The change in her behaviour commenced from here, and the shift had been steady since then. She does not fear Sai, but she treats Savi as her threat. The one who took away her happiness. The one responsible for her biggest loss.
In all her conversations post then her insecurity is seen clearly. Her fear that V will reconcile with Sai. Sai is not the fear. Fear is the reconciliation where Sai has no role. It is V and Savi. Hence, her anger and insecurities are towards Savi, not Sai. Sai is only the bearer of her threat – Savi. She is irked by the importance Savi received. Because that meant the growing power of Savi and the possibility of Sai’s return. She has this upset look when Savi is showered with love and attention.
Now, lets look at the next dream and how this is connected to the one today.
Sai-V have a moment, when their fingers touch at the dining table while feeding Savi. It is Savi and the hand touch that comes in P’s focus. Savi the cause and the hand touch the result of it. In her dream, Sai has no role, it is Savi who is insisting and then the hand touch follows. Look how her vision is narrowing down to Savi.
Like I mentioned in the beginning, dreams can be messages, intuitions, fear etc. This dream did come true but not in entirety. Because the interpretation of the dream also matters. V did agree to stay back at Sai’s place at Savi’s insistence. A dream that came true?
Now, if we look at the dream she saw today, she had V without a T-Shirt, and she did see Sai-V with a sleeping Savi and Vinu. Much like the dream, it came true. But again, different circumstances and interpretation and alterations.
If I look at the dream as stand alone, the dream looks real. The dream had a feel of reality, the dialogues spoken seemed real. Add to that the BGM to create that authenticity to the dream as real. Why do that with a drem. Ironically this is P’s dream. A very real looking dream seen by P. What does that mean? P is aware of the truth, the reality. Her subconscious mind is in acceptance of it. It is real. But it is the conscious mind influenced by the wordly ways and selfish needs that makes her think otherwise. The realistic dream becomes a nightmare.
Now lets’ evaluate the dream and dialogues with the understanding that it is P’s dream. Hence, it is based on P’s understanding, her truth. It is V who stops Sai not the other way round. It is V who makes the move, not Sai. This clearly shows P’s understanding of V and Sai. She knows that V capable of falling for Sai, but Sai will be cognizant of P’s presence in V’s life.
Dialogues are mostly Vs. Again note, Sai is not saying anything, in fact she is not even agreeing with it. She is thinking about P. V’s words and Sai’s silence meaning that they both love EO and they want to be EO.
“Hum dodno ek doosre ke liye bane hai, phir ek doosre ke saath kyon nahi hai”. Can you believe P ever believing in this? But the fact is she does and believes in it. It is her dream. Her subconscious mind well aware of this fact. A question she may be asking herself. If they love EO, why are they not together. What is stopping V? And also her insecurity, that V can leave her.
“P sach sweekar kar legi, Usse pehle humein iss sach ko sweekar karna hoga”. Isn’t this based on V-P understanding and the conditions of their marriage? P well aware and respecting V’s feelings for Sai and being devoted to his loyalty towards Sai while he stays married to P. And isn’t that P expected to understand this just like V said? She knows that V-Sai are trying to hide their feelings. So they need to accept it.
“Tum mera sacha pyaar ho Sai aur hamesha rahogi”. Biggest truth bomb. And it comes from P. She knows it. In fact her subconscious mind always knew it. It is her delusional conscious mind that refuses to accept this truth.
How the dream and interpretation is different. P sees Sai and V almost making out with the kids sleeping next to them. But when V shows the sleeping kids and questions her if she believes Sai and him can get intimate in front of the kids, she has no response. Because in her dream she saw this, but when V puts the fact, she knows that it is not a possibility. She only acted upon her fear and the eventual interpretation owing to it.
Her dislike for Savi has been brewing since her revelation. Her mind didn’t vocalise it, as she knew how V was connected there. And unlike Sai, no one could question his equation and interaction with Savi. Again, she fears V will get back with Sai. But Savi is her enemy. The threat that made this reconciliation a possibility. The one who beat her at her biggest game. And today, when she lost complete control, her hatred for Savi very clearly spelt out. She is of the view that without Savi in the picture, Sai-V may not reconcile. And through Savi, she lost her exclusivity. The idea that she is the only one who could give V his blood.
Savi has disrupted her ecosystem. Her decisions and her preferences are being sidelined and ignored. Savi is the hindrance. Just like Sai in pre leap, Savi is beating her, dethroning her at P’s own mental matches. So it is only obvious that Savi will become the target of her anger and hatred. And this could soon lead to some extreme step towards harming Savi.
Her words to Sai, the threat, the darkness in her words, that she will show her worst side that Sai has never seen. Premonition of sorts. Savi is the threat to her happiness, and she needs to be eliminated. Once she becomes invalid, so will Sai and all her insecurities.
V was not wrong in his decision to stay by Savi’s side when she was unwell. As a father who missed those precious firsts of his daughter, wants to be by her side, savoring every moment. But what was odd was how he never asked for Sai’s permission to stay. He only told her about his decision. And when she countered, he very subtly threatened to take her to CN. How can he be at ease to stay at his ex-wife’s place, with how things are between them and with an obsessed wife at home? Isn’t he supposed to be more careful and cautious in his conduct? Why did he look like Sai’s husband here, who needed no permission?
I’m not sure if V-P marriage is real or not. But seems like for Sai it is real. How she addresses P as V’s wife even in P’s absence.
Another interesting scene was how Sai stopped P, when she was charging at V. As a doctor who has been observing P and her changed behaviour, or someone who is aware of some mental ailment. It came as a natural response of a doc, trying to pacify a patient.
V’s concern for Sai and their brief talk as if understanding the situation and P’s state. When P openly declares that Sai is yet to see the worst side of her, Sai smirks. Well, no one knows how vile P can be. Or does V know. Hence, the impassive look at such a statement.
Is this why he is keeping the truth from everyone. Keeping his family safe from P? Knowing the danger P can be. Or is he underestimating P, and treating this as a hollow threat? The former looks more likely.
Ashwini is concerned for P. She is finding it difficult to choose between V and P’s happiness. Whom to support. But not once she thought about Sai’s state. The one she called a daughter and the same one she tried to reclaim later apologizing post realizing she gave birth to her grandchild. Where is the genuineness in Ashwini and her love? BK and the Chavans are so concerned about P and so understanding of P’s feelings. Her state of mind with a ex-wife entering her husband’s life. But none of them ever thought or considered Sai’s state when she voiced out similar concerns regarding P. Such double standards. They all need to be bit by the snake they have so lovingly nurtured.
Precap – Looks like a deliberate attempt on V’s side to bring P’s state in the open. If this is a mental ailment, then V has been dealing with her in a very patient manner. With no urgency, he was playing on back foot, dealing with situations as and when they arose. Whether it was a treatment or not, is something we will know. But for now it seemed like an SOS. Since the situation was more or less under control. So he provided the medication (his tactics), based on the need. But with the frequency of shift the need for proper treatment has rose. You can’t continue to give SOS to a patient so frequently. So what is the first step to begin a treatment for a patient. The patient needs to know that they are ill and they need to be treated. The acknowledgement and acceptance has to come before they begin. And this seems to be just that.
