I purely find it offscreen dynamics. The way he used to shout at Sai, he hardly does with Pakhi but she keeps on shouting , screeching and howling.

It's as if offscreen pati doesn't want to have such scenes with offscreen wifey😳

I don't find any other reason for his mellowed reaction to Pakhi's outburst where was he was angry as bull when he put Sai in jail for keeping info abt his daughter from him.

It is hypocritical actually! When Patralekha openly tried to meddle between husband and wife, no one called out on "how the patni must be feeling." Now when Patralekha is the aggrieved patni, everyone has stopped eating food.

Which is why I am also happy that Patralekha is suffering.
