Bedu Pako. Pawandeep's song with Salim Sulaiman and Shor Police. A traditional Kumaoni folk song remixed into modern beats.

I like fusion when it is done well. Here I feel they have gone overboard, just the way Salim Sulaiman have done multiple times in the past. But then perhaps it is good for PD because this is what seems to be popular these days.

Overall I like the beat of the song and I felt the fusion portion is good but a bit lengthy.
I have liked the 2 previous songs that Salim released for PD- Hanuman Chalisa and Shiv samadhi mein baithe.

I listen to his Hanuman chalisa almost daily and I have managed to memorize most of it. I like how it is slow paced and the words are very clear.

Hopefully some day he gets an original song from Salim that is not religious or folk based.
I actually liked the Bedu Pako song. Even found the original version of this song 😊

I think it was like this only. They didn't show the full song even in the original telecast. And Arunita has this ability to go really really low whem required. It shows her tremendous classical training.

The thing is we won't know about any song recording until the film is ready for release. They make the final announcement only at that time, because there may be changes till the last moment.

As far as fusion is concerned I feel here Shor Police have gone overboard with the beats. Or perhaps it is just a little different from my taste.
