I see that Sai n the one now - so innocent she was n how miserable Virat n his family made her! All she wanted was complete her study n become a doctor. I wish he let her go after graduation. Instead of bringing this pregnancy crap they could have separated them then w Shruti track MU. 🤦‍♀️

Sai's pregnancy was such a forced thing to add. I remember when they started suddenly talking about and fantasizing about it one day, forgetting that Sai was still studying in college, and so she still is practically a child herself!. Then Shruti track happened, one thing led to another, and next thing we knew...SaiRat pregnancy! With an unnecessary overdose of Pakhi.

But now, Neil only gives repetitive expressions, and worse than that, his acting lacks depth now. In the beginning, he was able to convey complex emotions, but now it feels like he can convey only a single simple emotion.

For eg, the scene where Sai was talking about Aaba infront of the commissioner, the only way to see Virat getting slightly emotional was to notice him turning away and wiping one of his eyes with his thumb. And that looked so fake and forced. The entire time his body posture was rigid and his face was twisted into angry young man expression. There was no posture softening, no pained look in his eyes, no guilt, no sadness, no nothing. And that really sucked!

At this point, I feel like it is not just the writing but Neil who is more responsible for the rude and cruel character of Virat. The makers do wish to show there is something between Sai and Virat, but Neil doesn't show any such thing in his face, unless there is a blatant hand touching, getting lost in memories scene, which due to lack of any subtlety feels too much too fast.

If there was even a single scene of Virat, unknowingly to Sai, looking at her with concern, fear, and gratefulness, looking happy that she is alive, or looking at her with love, I am pretty sure many people in this fandom would have changed their opinion on SaiRat.

You spoke my mind!
