oh btw i ended up watching the new netflix movie called "dhokha" with R Madhvan, Aparshakti and the new girl from the dhokha music video. it started off well but fell flat soon after. i still finished it because i wanted to know how it ends. the ending was pretty anti-climactic and sad

Second half was boring huh? And what do you mean anti climatic end? I dont mind spoilers...

so basically Madhavan and the girl are married. One day Aparshakti randomly runs away from jail and goes inside the couple's flat and threatens to kill the girl. Madhavan is waiting outside the building with police force and trying to convince aparshakti to release his wife. meanwhile inside the flat, apar reveals that he was falsely accused as a terrorist (again dhokha) so he's been given a death sentence. the wife tells apar that her husband (madhavan) is cheating on her and trying to take properties (hence dhokha). she also says she has a bf whom has also given her dhokha. so now she wants to run away with apar. apar gets convinced and agrees to run away with her. so he asks madhavan for 50 lac rupees as ransom.

So then apar and the girl make a plan to take the ransom money and go to london. here from outside the buidling, madhavan calls apar and tells him that his wife is a mental patient and she always makes us stories about madhavan cheating on her. this confuses apar but the apar still trusts the girl

finally when madhavan comes inside with the money, he flights with apar and the girl ends up getting shot in the middle. fast forward to court scene, madhavan tells the police that apar killed his wife but the police officer proves apar is a mentally ill patient so he's sent to mental asylum instead of jail.

then it's revealed that it was actually madhavan who killed his wife, the wife had no mental illness but he was giving her pills to drive her insane, and he is indeed having an affair and married her for her money. and the wife's bf who gave her dhokha was actually the same police officer who prove apar as a mentally ill patient. he had sent apar to the girl's flat to kill her in exchange of saving apar from jail

the movie ends with apar hallucinating the girl being with him in the mental asylum because he had fallen for her for real

so yeah it's pretty anti climactic because the ending didn't have any good twist

as i was reading on, i first thought the girl is lying about madhvan and she is real mastermind. but should have known madhavan wouldnt take any role that has anything less meatier. wow!

apar's characters takes all sympathy.

and that police officer guy was a horrible bf 😡

But in all, seems like a very headache inducing movie and surely anti climatic

ikr? I felt so bad for apar’s character, poor guy lost everything at the end and madhavan was never punished
