Why do people always focus on the paternal side?

On the maternal side too, Ash's father and brother are as tall as Amitabh and Abhishek. Ash (at 5'7) is tall herself.

Aaradhya was bound to be tall unless she got Jaya or Vrinda's genes. So the odds were always in favour of her being around 5'9-5'10.

that is sooo true. Barring Jaya and Vrinda Rai, everyone is super tall from both sides of the fam so Aaradhya was bound to be tall too.
