he seems like a terrible dad who only cares about getting his two seconds of fame and money, even if it comes at the cost of his daughter's respect and mental & emotional well-being. he knows that she's clearly going through a very hard time and has no one to support her or phone kar k bhi aisi baat bol di instead of offering her comfort
i'm not absolving her of her involvement in what has happened. she defo goes too hard with her care and affection for shalin. buuut, now that i know a lil bit about her life story and her dad's involvement in it all, i get it and feel sympathetic towards her. she's very young and she should be living out a very regular life of a teenager instead of being humiliated on national tv. this is going to have a detrimental effect on her mental health and overall personality. people who come in the industry at a young age unfortunately end up struggling a lot later on :/ but again us ka control hai nahi in sab decisions pe to wo kya karey. us k papa hi decisions lete hain. iski to personality bhi rebellious nahi hai. she seems like a subdued person who wants his approval and does what he suggests.
