I don't think they had T Series rights. They didn't have YRF rights too but got later.

Actually I didn't notice, T-SERIES is uploading many Sony show's performances on its channel itself.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Tuesday approved the merger of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd with Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt. Ltd. in early October 2022. There are some additional regulatory approvals that are still pending but the merger process has started.

No. Zee Sony merger going on for at least a year.
