See we as audience know virat and sai are stuck in the past. For the family except may be ashwini they don’t know where both of them are with their feelings for each other. For them the accidental touch means triggering old memories. And they did observe the same when they both were lost in oblivion for some moments. It is mostly for the family to think in this way I guess. 🙄
