M yet to see Indians running to buy LV coz DP was announced brand ambassador. Rich ones ofcourse will buy it even if no celebs endorse it.

On the other hand people in China actually bought (and still buy) Gucci within a few DAYS of their fav actor being announced brand ambassador and posted receipts online.

Within a week Gucci upgraded the actor from China Brand ambassador to Global BA.

The fan culture there is nuts and also extremely toxic. So I shall hope Indians stay away from such madness.

Bollywood ke 95% celebs cancel hogaye hote agar India ka fan culture waisa hota😆. Though I wouldn't mind some being cancelled, they kinda deserve it.

I like "some" of their bagwatis though. Kapde bekaar hai but some bags and shoes are nice.

Ye kabhi nahi hoga. They are marketed as high end brands, lutt jayenge but price kam nahi karenge. They dont want everyone to be able to afford their products.

Infact not just luxury brands, there are academic publishing houses which would rather scrap books than announce a sale, coz unki brand value gir jayegi. Its heartbreaking to see the number of books shredded each year.

I have worked with rich and super rich. They do not buy such cheap bags. They buy personalised bags from designers directly. These bags can cost above 50 lakhs. Upper middle class and new money buy such bags.
